Priority deadline for admission to the Winter Intersession.

Add/Drop for registered students and for students who have not registered.

Deadline for admission to the Winter Intersession.

Last day a student may officially drop a course or withdraw from all classes with the Office of the University Registrar for a full refund.

Classes begin for all undergraduate and graduate students.

Last day to add a class.

Last day to officially withdraw from the University or reduce course load and receive an 80 percent refund.

Payment deadline of registration fees and/or housing and dining fees - if total amount due is not paid as indicated on the account statement, a late payment fee of 1.5 percent of the amount past due will be assessed.

Last day to officially drop from the University or reduce course load and receive a 50 percent refund.

Last day to drop a course without it appearing on the student's transcript. Classes dropped after this date will appear on the student's transcript with a 'W' grade assigned.

Last day to change grading option (pass/fail to letter grade or letter grade to pass/fail; credit to audit or audit to credit).

Last day to withdraw from the University or reduce course load. Students can withdraw or reduce course load after this date only for “urgent non-academic reasons.”

University of Kentucky offices are open and classes meet normally. No major assignments, quizzes, or exams may be scheduled during Prep Days.

Official end of the Winter Intersession.

All final exams are given during normal class hours for Winter Intersession. Final exams for asynchronous classes are given at a time dictated by the course instructor/syllabus.

The last day faculty are able to submit final grades.
