The Office of the University Registrar mails diplomas and certificates to the address entered by students on their degree application. To change a diploma or certificate address, students must contact Student Records before the end of the semester in which they complete their degree requirements. Address changes made in myUK do not update the address on the degree application.
Although financial holds do not prevent graduation, they do stop the release of diplomas and certificates. Students that resolve their financial holds within five years of graduating may still receive their complimentary diploma if they email the Office of the University Registrar (OUR) and provide a mailing address. Students who do not resolve financial holds and contact the OUR within five years are not eligible to receive a complementary credential. However, once all financial holds have been resolved, they can still use the Request a Replacement Diploma process to receive their credential.
Students having their credential shipped internationally will be required to pay the cost of shipping before the credential can be sent.
