Priority deadline for admission to the Winter Intersession.

Priority registration opens for Winter 2022.

Add/Drop for registered students and for students who have not registered.

Deadline for admission to the Winter Intersession.

Last day a student may officially drop a course or withdraw from all classes with the Office of the University Registrar for a full refund.

Last day to add a class.

Last day to fully withdraw or reduce course load and receive an 80% refund for full-term classes.

Classes begin for all undergraduate and graduate students.

Winter 2022 payment deadline. If the total amount due is not paid, a late payment fee of 1.5% of the amount past due will be assessed.

Christmas Day (Holiday – Classes Do Not Meet).

Last day to fully withdraw or reduce course load and receive a 50% refund for full-term classes.

Last day to change grading option for full-term classes (pass/fail to letter grade or letter grade to pass/fail; credit to audit or audit to credit).

New Year's Day (Holiday – Classes Do Not Meet).

Last day to fully withdraw or reduce course load for full-term classes. After this date students are only permitted withdraw for urgent non–academic reasons.

University of Kentucky offices are open and classes meet normally. No major assignments, quizzes, or exams may be scheduled during Prep Days.

All final exams are given during normal class hours for Winter Intersession. Final exams for asynchronous classes are given at a time dictated by the course instructor/syllabus.

Official end of the Winter Intersession.

The last day faculty are able to submit final grades.
